From January to May, Canopy achieved incredible growth, averaging 10% per month through Lent, and Easter after we completed a website redesign for their congregation.
Compared to December 2020, at the end of May of 2021, Canopy’s audience had grown 80% and that was without the use of robust email marketing and social media, we just took their website, implemented a redesign and a domain transfer.
In June and July of 2021, Canopy’s congregation, like many others, went on vacation and took a summer break which explains the 43% drop.
In August of 2021, that audience returned with great enthusiasm and grew by 87% as schools began to start again.
September and October 2021 saw their audience normalize in size after August, but November’s dip is due to Thanksgiving as many people set down their phones to be present during the holidays.
We are very proud of the work we are doing with Canopy Church as they continue to make meaningful progress to take advantage of what it means to engage people digitally in addition to their practical ministry.
